The Boston Herald published an opinion article written by Jeff Robbins, a Boston lawyer and former U.S. delegate to the United Nations Human Rights Commission, highlighting Chairman of Mintz R. Robert Popeo’s dedication to helping others, including members of the East Boston neighborhood where he grew up.

Mr. Popeo will be honored for his contributions to the East Boston community next month by the East Boston Social Centers, a nonprofit that has been providing nutritional, educational and social services support for East Boston families for a century.
