Mintz Member and Intellectual Property Chair Michael T. Renaud and Member Jonathan J. Engler co-authored an article published by IAM that explores the key components of the ITC and assess whether it is the most desirable route for plaintiffs. The authors summarized, "The ITC is best known as a major forum for patent litigation, where the one-two punch from the agency’s twin remedial orders – a limited exclusion order at the border, blocking the import of infringing goods and a cease-and-desist order, enjoining the domestic sale and distribution of those goods – can quickly get a respondent’s full attention."
