Trump Administration and Stark Law Enforcement: Where It Stands and What’s Next

Of Counsel Rachel Yount was featured in a Q&A by Becker’s ASC Review about how Stark Law enforcement evolved under the previous Trump administration and what might be expected during his second term.

She says, “I don't anticipate the current Trump administration to release major rulemaking this time around given its focus on reducing the federal government workforce and rolling back regulations. In late January, there was an executive order requiring that ‘whenever an agency promulgates a new rule, regulation or guidance, it must identify at least 10 existing rules, regulations, or guidance documents to be repealed.’ So I don't expect significant changes to the Stark Law.”
