Mintz Member Dianne Bourque was quoted in an article published by the Washington Post on New York’s efforts to distribute tens of thousands of doses of anti-malarial drugs as an experimental, unproven treatment for seriously ill coronavirus patients. Ms. Bourque commented on the unprecedented increase in compassionate use treatment requests during the pandemic, as well as the U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s approval of such requests.
