Mintz Members Richard Moche and Robert Burwell have been recognized among the nation’s top attorneys for delivering superior service to corporate clients in The BTI Client Service All-Stars 2019 report. BTI compiles this annual list by polling hundreds of general counsel and other legal decision-makers to find out which attorneys are influencing and changing the legal industry.

Mr. Moche is the Division Head for the firm's Public Finance, Real Estate, Bankruptcy, and Environmental Practices, and is a member of the firm's governing Policy Committee as well as its Compensation Committee. He primarily represents mutual funds, indenture trustees, hedge funds, and insurance companies in tax-exempt bond transactions, focusing in the area of high-yield securities in both workout and new money transactions.

Mr. Burwell is the Chair of Mintz’s Retail & Consumer Products Industry Group. He represents middle-market companies and private equity firms in mergers and acquisitions, equity financings, and other corporate and securities matters. Mr. Burwell focuses on retail and consumer companies, with clients that include an international retailer that owns and operates membership warehouse clubs in Latin America and the Caribbean and various branded personal care and lifestyle companies.

BTI interviewed more than 350 corporate counsel from the world’s largest organizations to probe all aspects of client relationships. Interviews were conducted between March 20, 2018, and February 8, 2019, and represented companies in more than 15 industries, including banking, chemicals, energy, financial services, high-tech and pharma, among others.
