A Wave of Organizations are Offering Paid Leave for Pregnancy Loss

The Boston Globe reported that Mintz is offering its 1,200 employees, about half of whom are in Boston, 15 days of paid leave following a miscarriage, and five days after a failed fertility treatment, adoption, or surrogacy. Mintz Managing Member Bob Bodian and Associate Natalie Groot were prominently featured discussing the considerations in enacting such policies, such as the impact on employee recruitment and retention, and the focus on employee well-being at work.
