Allison focuses her litigation practice on representing insurers in a broad spectrum of coverage disputes and providing strategic counsel on insurance matters. She oversees all phases of cases in state and federal courts as well as alternative dispute resolution proceedings, regularly negotiating favorable settlements. Drawing on extensive experience in private practice and in-house with a global insurance company, Allison provides strategic counsel on risk and insurance issues involving a wide variety of industries.
Prior to joining Mintz, Allison was an assistant general counsel for litigation and general insurance at a multinational insurance company. In that role, she managed a diverse and complex litigation docket that included US and international casualty policies issued to commercial insureds. Earlier, she was a principal with a Philadelphia-based law firm, where she litigated insurance coverage matters and provided related insurance coverage advice.
In law school, she served as the topics editor for the University of Pittsburgh Law Review.
