Chelsea focuses her practice on intellectual property litigation with an emphasis on patent disputes involving life sciences clients. She primarily works on matters before federal district courts and the US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
Prior to joining Mintz, Chelsea served as a law clerk for Judge Sharon Prost of the US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and Judge Allen C. Winsor of the US District Court for the Northern District of Florida. Earlier, she was an associate at an international law firm, where her work included assisting with trial preparation and helping to prepare expert reports.
While earning her JD from UCLA Law, Chelsea served as editor-in-chief of the Journal of Law & Technology and a judicial extern in the Patent Program at the US District Court for the Central District of California. She also earned her master’s degree in biochemistry at UCLA, where she conducted research on the epigenetic and developmental roles of RNA modifications.
