Chelsea focuses her practice on transactional commercial real estate law. She represents clients in transactions including commercial leasing, development, and acquisitions and dispositions of office, medical office, multi-family and industrial properties. She regularly drafts closing documents and leases, negotiates purchase and sale agreements, and performs due diligence related to acquisitions, dispositions, and development work. 

In 2013, Chelsea was a Summer Intern at Mintz. After earning her law degree, she joined the Boston office of another international law firm and served as an associate in its real estate and REITs practice group. 

In law school, Chelsea was a teaching assistant for the Legal Research and Writing class and was a staff editor for the Wake Forest Law Review.

Mintz’s pro bono work for The Food Project, a nonprofit focused on youth development and reducing food insecurity, has included advising the organization on governance, real estate, employment, privacy, and litigation matters.

On March 23, 2020, Governor Charlie Baker of Massachusetts issued COVID-19 Order No. 13 requiring all businesses and organizations in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts that do not provide “COVID-19 Essential Services” (“Essential Services”) to close their physical workplaces and facilities to workers, customers and the public as of 12:00 noon on Tuesday, March 24, 2020 until 12:00 noon on April 7, 2020. On March 31, 2020, Governor Baker issued a related order, COVID-19 Order No. 21 (the “Order”) extending the operation of its previous order to May 4, 2020 and updating the list of Essential Services based on federal guidance.
