Gabriel is an experienced litigator who focuses his practice on complex commercial disputes, including business torts, fraud and misrepresentation, breaches of contract including representations and warranties, fiduciary duty claims, post-merger disputes, and securities litigation. Gabriel handles all aspects of litigation, including case assessment, complaints, motion practice and brief drafting, discovery management, depositions, expert witnesses, trial, and appeals. Gabriel regularly appears before state and federal courts. He also has participated in several mediations and arbitrations, including before the American Arbitration Association and JAMS. Gabriel works with clients across a wide variety of industries, including private equity, life sciences, consumer products, insurance, food & beverage, and real estate.  

Gabriel maintains an active pro bono practice, which has included representing clients in immigration proceedings, tenants in landlord-tenant disputes, and prisoners in federal civil rights cases. Gabriel won his former firm’s 2021 Pro Publica award for his pro bono work.

Prior to joining Mintz, Gabriel was a litigation associate at a Boston-based law firm, where he handled a broad spectrum of litigation. Earlier, he was an associate and summer associate at a Boston-based multinational law firm. Before that, he clerked for the Honorable Eric L. Clay of the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit and the Honorable Kim R. Gibson of the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania.

During law school, Gabriel served as an Articles Editor for the Chicago Journal of International Law. He also participated in The University of Chicago Law School’s Exoneration Project Clinic.
