Gabrielle is a registered patent agent with a background in chemistry, with a particular focus on organic synthesis related to accessing semiconductors and photoactive materials. She concentrates her practice on US and international patent prosecution and counseling, freedom to operate analyses, and due diligence. Gabrielle works with clients across a variety of industries, including life sciences, advanced materials, clean technology, and AgTech and FoodTech.
Prior to joining Mintz, Gabrielle was a Patent Agent at an international firm, where she handled patent matters for clients in the pharmaceutical and other sectors.
While earning her PhD, Gabrielle worked as a graduate research assistant at the University of Toronto, where she designed and synthesized photoactive and electronically active organic chalcogen materials. She was also an instructor and teaching assistant for graduate and undergraduate classes in chemistry and engineering.
