Hayley focuses her practice on debt financing and mergers and acquisitions for private equity clients. She has extensive experience representing private equity sponsors and corporate borrowers in secured and unsecured financings, including acquisitions, refinancings, cross-border deals, and transactions to provide working capital funding. She also works on the purchase and sale of private equity portfolio companies, regularly drafting deal documents and conducting legal due diligence.
Hayley also maintains an active pro bono practice, which has included successfully reducing the prison sentence of an indigent client from two life sentences to time served.
Prior to joining Mintz, Hayley was a corporate associate at a global law firm, where she worked a broad range of debt financing and other transactional matters.
While earning her JD, Hayley interned with the Exploitation Intervention Project of the Legal Aid Society in the Bronx and at a public interest law practice. She also served as a student attorney for BU Law’s Criminal Law Clinical Program.
