Prior to joining Mintz, Jack was an associate at two global law firms, where he focused on private equity and mergers and acquisitions. In those roles, his work often involved drafting and negotiating acquisition agreements and related ancillary documents. These included non-disclosure, subscription lock-up, operating, and escrow agreements, as well as equity commitment letters, limited guarantees, corporate governance approvals, and company voting agreements and resolutions. He also regularly prepared incorporation documents, charters, bylaws, and shareholder agreements and conducted due diligence.
While earning his JD, Jack interned with a Jerusalem-based crowdfunding venture capital firm, where he assisted with legal due diligence of start-ups, drafted agreements for deals, and advised on compliance matters. In law school, Jack served as the editor for online content for the Georgetown Law Journal and was a member of the ADR Advocacy Division of Georgetown’s Barristers’ Council, which focuses on preparing students for alternative dispute resolution proceedings.
Before law school, Jack served in the Israeli Defense Forces, rising to the rank of Sergeant for an infantry combat unit. In addition, he worked for the Embassy of Israel in the United States, a role that encompassed advising the Minister of Public Diplomacy on outreach initiatives and strategic planning, and as a legislative aide/community liaison for New York City Councilman Mark Levine.
