Kayla focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation, privacy litigation, and white collar defense matters for clients in a variety of industries, including health care and real estate. She represents clients in federal and state courts and in administrative proceedings.
Prior to joining Mintz, Kayla was a litigation associate at a national law firm, where she handled matters involving a broad range of disputes, including the California Information Privacy Act, state and federal wiretapping laws, and other data privacy laws.
While earning her JD, Kayla volunteered with BC Law’s Defenders Clinic and its Lifer Parole & Medical Release Clinic. She also had an externship with Greater Bostoner Legal Services, serving in the organization’s Domestic Violence Work Group. During the summer before law school, Kayla worked as a claims interviewer for the Connecticut Department of Labor.
While earning her undergraduate degree, Kayla interned with the Rhode Island Commission for Human Rights and the Connecticut Attorney General’s Office.
