Michael practices a wide range of litigation matters, including government law, white collar defense, real estate litigation, and complex commercial litigation. He has experience representing large corporations, government agencies, and individuals in a variety of industries. Michael has experience with pre-litigation strategy, mediation, legal research, complex discovery, and drafting legal briefs and memorandum. He also is an active participant in Mintz’s pro bono practice.
During law school, Michael interned in the Public Corruption and Special Prosecutions Unit of the US Attorney’s Office for the District of Massachusetts, and served as a staff writer on the Boston College Law Review. Michael also worked as a Summer Associate at Mintz.
While attending Villanova University, he interned with the investigative unit of the New Jersey State Office of the Public Defender, the United Kingdom Conservative Party Campaign Headquarters, and a Pennsylvania state senator.
In his free time Michael enjoys training for and running marathons.

- Represents corporations and individuals in government investigations and litigation.
- Assists clients with developing and maintaining policies and systems to ensure compliance with ethics, lobbying, and other political laws.
- Represents private and publicly-traded companies and non-profits regarding ballot questions and campaign compliance issues.
Complex Commercial Litigation
- Representing energy company in administrative appeals of Chapter 91 waterways permitting for natural gas infrastructure.
- Representing international corporation in multi-million dollar lawsuit in the Southern District of New York and was part of the team that defeated the opponent's motion for summary judgment.
- Represents Wynn MA, LLC in litigation related to purchase of the Encore Boston Harbor site.
- Represents a developer of a luxury apartment complex in a suit against its general contractor.
Real Estate Litigation
- Represents developers and abutters before local zoning boards and through zoning appeals, including the settlements of multiple zoning disputes with abutters and developers.
- Represents property owners and tenants regarding lease issues, including the settlements of multiple commercial lease disputes.
White Collar Defense
- Represents individuals and entities in Department of Justice investigations and Attorney General investigations.
Pro-Bono
- Part of a team of Mintz and ACLU attorneys representing group of Afghan applicants for humanitarian parole in lawsuit against the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services and Department of Homeland Security in the District of Massachusetts.
- Successfully guided individuals through eviction proceedings during COVID-19 Pandemic to ensure they maintained housing.
