Mike focuses his practice on representing private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies in a broad spectrum of transactions. He advises buyers and sellers in acquisitions, sales, strategic investments, and other deals, regularly assisting with purchase and merger agreements and the diligence process. Mike works with companies in a variety of industries, including financial services, technology, and sports. 

Prior to joining Mintz, Mike was a private equity associate at a global law firm, where he worked on transactional matters and was actively involved in the firm’s Sports Law Industry Group.

During law school, Mike served as a judicial intern to the Honorable George A. O’Toole Jr., a Senior Judge at the US District Court for the District of Massachusetts, and a legal intern with the Boston College athletics department. He also served as a senior editor for the Boston College Law Review and received first place in the Sports Lawyers Association's annual law student writing competition. 

Prior to law school, Mike worked as an expert witness recruiter.
