Nicole focuses her practice on corporate and securities law, including transactions and general corporate matters. She counsels companies across a variety of industries, including energy & sustainability, health care, technology, and life science.
While earning her JD, Nicole gained diverse legal experience across several practice areas. As a summer associate at a large national firm, she assisted in developing litigation strategies for large maritime corporations, conducting complex legal research and drafting related pleadings. She also gained hands-on experience at an intellectual property firm, where she responded to USPTO office actions, and drafted appeal briefs, gaining insight into protecting corporate intellectual assets and navigating regulatory processes. She also gained two years of extensive research experience as a Research Assistant for a law school professor focusing on administrative and constitutional law topics. Additionally, she served as an executive board member of her law school’s moot court program, competed in the Saul Lefkowitz Moot Court National Tournament, and was an associate editor of the San Diego Journal of Climate and Energy Law.
Before law school, Nicole worked as an immigration specialist first for an international tech company and then for a cancer research center, both in Seattle, Washington, where she navigated complex regulatory requirements to support talent acquisition and retention of international scientists, software engineers, and researchers.
