Riley focuses his practice on a broad range of corporate and securities law, including corporate transactions and general corporate governance matters. He counsels public and private companies across a variety of industries, including the technology sector.
While earning his JD, Riley served as a Mintz Summer Associate for two summers, where he gained experience drafting SEC compliance forms and consent contracts, participated in the review of sale and purchase agreements for a public company merger, and worked closely with Associates to advise clients on complex corporate matters. In law school, he was actively involved in the Business Law Society and Federalist Society.
Prior to law school, Riley worked both in the United States and in Afghanistan as a senior counterintelligence analyst for a private defense contractor, where he led a team of analysts in conducting special operations intelligence assessments, supporting American and NATO counterintelligence operations, and regularly briefing senior coalition military officers on counterintelligence threats. Prior to entering the private sector, Riley served in the Army National Guard as an intelligence analyst, training soldiers and providing intelligence support for military operations.
