Stefan focuses his practice on corporate and securities law matters, including advising clients on corporate governance and ‘33 Act and ‘34 Act compliance. He represents both issuers and underwriters in a broad spectrum of public and private offerings of equity, debt, and preferred stock, including IPOs, at-the-market (ATM) and medium-term note (MTN) programs and offerings, and acquisition financing. His clients include US and international public companies, real estate investment trusts (REITs), banks, and financial services firms.
Prior to joining Mintz, Stefan was a managing associate for capital markets at a multinational law firm, where he worked on a wide variety of offerings and corporate matters. Earlier in his career, Stefan owned and operated an LSAT prep company.
While earning his JD, Stefan was a founding member of the University of Pennsylvania Independent Journal of Law and Public Policy (now the Journal of Law & Public Affairs) and served as the publication’s first online editor. He was also a fellow for the Penn Housing Rights Project.
