Arameh Zargham O’Boyle and Esteban Morales Named 2025 “Leaders of Influence: Minority Attorneys” by LA Business Journal

Mintz announced that Members Arameh Zargham O'Boyle and Esteban Morales have been named to Los Angeles Business Journal’s 2025 “Leaders of Influence: Minority Attorneys” list. The award recognizes “standout minority attorneys considered to be particularly impactful on the legal scene while serving as trusted advisors in the LA region,” according to the publication.

Arameh is a litigator who focuses her practice on defending product manufacturers in complex product liability and consumer class action litigation. She represents businesses in a variety of industries including cosmetic, personal care products, medical device, pharmaceutical, over-the-counter drugs, food, retail, and electronics. She regularly advises clients on product labeling and advertising strategies to navigate the requirements of the FDA’s Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act and mitigate challenges under California’s consumer protection laws. According to Los Angeles Business Journal, “O’Boyle stands as a trailblazer in the legal world, notably as the first female partner in Mintz’s expanding Los Angeles office. Her expertise in managing high-profile litigation, complex class actions and multidistrict cases, combined with her deep legal, regulatory and industry knowledge, enables her to consistently drive clients’ success.”

Los Angeles Business Journal describes Esteban as a “force to be reckoned with in class action defense, consumer and privacy-related litigation.” Esteban routinely handles litigation and compliance issues related to marketing, consumer outreach, allegations of consumer fraud, and privacy. He has successfully defended small and large clients targeted in class actions alleging violations of various federal and state statutes, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (and state mini TCPAs), Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, California’s Unfair Competition Law, California’s anti-spam law, California’s Invasion of Privacy Act, and the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act (among many other theories). His wins include summary judgment in favor of a transportation authority in a class action alleging excessive fines under the U.S. Constitution, which the Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit affirmed.
