Brooke focuses her practice on corporate and transactional matters, particularly in the areas of venture capital, licensing, and mergers and acquisitions. She has experience working with public and private companies across a range of industries, including health care and technology.

While earning her JD, Brooke worked as a Summer Associate at Mintz, gaining experience with a variety of corporate fields, including venture capital & emerging companies, securities & capital markets, mergers & acquisitions, private equity, and licensing & technology. In an externship with an American office supply retailer, Brooke participated in matters relating to representation of the company as well as assisting teams in contracts, securities and benefits, employer compliance, real estate, and litigation. Additionally, Brooke interned for a regional health care system in North Carolina, assisting the general counsel, and for a gene therapy company, where she worked on projects involving regulatory, corporate, equity financing, and IP issues. 

In law school, Brooke served as a notes editor and staff member of the North Carolina Journal of Law & Technology.

Prior to law school, Brooke worked as a legal and policy intern at an educational services nonprofit drafting blog posts and letters on telehealth laws and collaborating on various legal projects.
