David Lundgren is a registered patent agent with an academic and industry background in electrical engineering. He concentrates his practice on US and international patent prosecution and counseling, primarily for clients developing computer hardware and software innovations.
David has significant experience with microprocessor architecture, GPU architecture, GPU software, video game graphics, mobile device graphics, artificial intelligence, machine learning, convolutional neural networks, security, encryption, virtual reality, storage, cloud computing, energy-efficient circuit design, virtualization, and wireless communication. He draws on his patenting and product design experience to help clients protect and maximize the value of their technology.
Prior to joining Mintz, David was a patent agent at an IP boutique firm in Austin, Texas, where he drafted and prepared patents involving a broad spectrum of computer technologies. Earlier, he designed products for a community developing digital open-source hardware and worked as a design engineer for a medical devices company. He also previously worked at an engineering consulting company and a satellite communications company.
