Emma focuses her practice on commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions and dispositions, financing, and leasing.

While earning her JD, Emma served as a summer associate at a California-based firm specializing in public law, where she worked with city attorneys on matters related to land use permits and eminent domain. In this role, she reviewed pre-acquisition documents and purchase and sale agreements, collaborating closely with municipalities on zoning laws and condition of use permits. Additionally, she authored legal memoranda addressing topics such as construction easements, ground leases, and zoning regulations. In addition, Emma served as a summer law clerk in the Land Use Department of the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office, where she drafted memoranda on issues involving California laws and researched proposed ordinances on real estate issues.

In law school, Emma served as an articles editor for the Southern California Interdisciplinary Law Journal and held the position of vice president of the Energy and Environmental Law Society. She was also a member of the USC Presidential Working Group, representing the law school in key discussions on university-wide sustainability and energy initiatives.

Prior to law school, Emma was in management at a long-standing Los Angeles horse barn. A lifelong resident of the city, she is also passionate about California's natural beauty and enjoys spending her free time hiking.
