Jacob is a corporate attorney who focuses his practice on venture capital, equity and debt financings, and general corporate governance. He primarily represents start-ups and emerging growth companies in all stages of their life cycles, including corporate formation, venture capital financing transactions, debt financings, and general corporate matters. Jacob represents clients across a variety of industries, including consumer products, life sciences, biotechnology, technology, and cyber security.
Prior to joining Mintz, Jacob worked as a summer associate for a law firm in New York City, where his responsibilities included researching and drafting memoranda related to asset purchase agreements, corporate finance matters, and assisting the tax department in responding to IRS audits. He also worked as a legal extern for the New York Police Department License Division in New York City.
At Fordham, Jacob worked as a research assistant at the Fordham Law School Center for Neuroscience and Law and was a notes and articles editor for the Fordham Urban Law Journal.
