Kristen is a multifaceted litigator who focuses her practice on complex commercial disputes, M&A litigation and government investigations for clients ranging from private equity and fund clients, start-ups, and Fortune 500 companies. Her clients rely on her strategic business advice and sound counsel to address and resolve their most pressing business issues.

A significant portion of Kristen’s practice focuses on representing private equity and fund clients in their most complex, high stakes litigation matters from complex commercial disputes such as breaches of fiduciary duty or breaches of contract, issues with representations and warranties in those contracts, as well as litigation arising from mergers and acquisitions. Given her depth in this space, clients look to Kristen to provide holistic litigation and risk assessments when preparing for transactions or club deals. She is also experienced at managing government investigations including those coming from FINRA.

Kristen has significant experience representing clients in creditor side bankruptcy cases, particularly those that involve private equity creditors, as well as securities litigation and real estate disputes.

Prior to joining Mintz, Kristen was a litigator at a large, international law firm, where she served as counsel in New York.

Earlier Kristen was a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Judge Brian M. Cogan of the U.S District Court for the Eastern District of New York. In addition, she worked as a litigation law clerk for a prominent financial services law firm.

At Fordham, Kristen was a member of the Fordham Law Review and the Brendan Moore Trial Advocacy team.
