Liam counsels clients in a broad range of commercial real estate transactions and financings throughout the United States. His practice includes representing institutional lenders, real estate funds, private equity funds, and other real estate investors in sophisticated real estate financings, purchase and sales, sale-leaseback transactions, preferred equity originations, workouts, and foreclosures across all real estate asset classes. Liam possesses significant experience representing investors in complex US and international commercial real estate acquisitions, developments, dispositions, joint ventures, financings, intercreditor issues, mezzanine loan foreclosures, CMBS, and special servicing issues.
Liam works closely with clients to structure deals that advance their business goals. Along with managing deal teams, Liam drafts and negotiates partnership, operating, loan, construction, and other real estate transactional agreements.
Prior to joining Mintz, Liam was a real estate associate at two international law firms, where he worked on a wide variety of commercial real estate matters.
