Michael has a multifaceted real estate practice that encompasses acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and development matters. He works with clients across a broad range of industries, including real estate and retail.
Prior to joining Mintz, Michael was a senior attorney focused on real estate at a multinational discount department store chain based in the United States. His role encompassed drafting and negotiating documents related to US legal matters, including lease agreements, lease amendments, and license agreements. He also regularly addressed pre-litigation disputes between the company and commercial landlords. Earlier, as a real estate associate attorney for a Boston-based full-service law firm, Michael guided developers through permitting and approvals processes, conducted land use analyses, and worked on all aspects of acquisitions, dispositions, and lease agreements for retail and office space and multifamily residential properties.
While attending law school, Michael served as the note development editor for the Boston University Law Review.
