Rebecca focuses her corporate practice on transactions, compliance issues, and general corporate matters. She works with clients across a variety of industries, with a particular emphasis on health care.
While earning her JD, Rebecca worked as a Summer Associate at Mintz, where she drafted legal memoranda on health care regulatory issues and researched compliance issues for health sector clients. During a legal internship in the Office of the General Counsel of a Massachusetts-based nonprofit health system, Rebecca also researched and analyzed regulatory health care and compliance questions. Additionally, while working as a summer law clerk for a New England law firm, she drafted briefs and letters of opposition for litigation and conducted legal research for property, real estate, and corporate law disputes.
In law school, Rebecca served as managing editor of BC Law’s Intellectual Property & Technology Forum Journal and vice president of the school’s Health Law Society.

Kentucky’s Consumer Privacy Law Is Coming, But on a Slow Track

On April 4, 2024, Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear (D) signed the Kentucky Consumer Data Protection Act (“KCDPA”) into law, with a slow roll to the date it takes effect on January 1, 2026. The KCDPA goes a bit easier on businesses and (1) does not impose a requirement to provide a universal opt-out mechanism, and (2) has a permanent cure provision that will afford violators ongoing opportunities to rectify alleged violations of the law.
