Shmuel’s practice focuses on corporate law with a stress on corporate and commercial transactions, financings, and restructuring within the life science and biotech industries.
Prior to joining Mintz, Shmuel was a corporate associate at a major Canadian law firm. Earlier, he completed a clerkship at the Tax Court of Canada.
While earning his JD, Shmuel worked as a summer law student at an investment company, where he researched securities regulations and assisted in-house legal counsel with various legal matters. In law school, he worked as a research assistant and as a teacher’s assistant for an Income Tax course.
Shmuel received a designation in Talmudic Business Law while studying at Ner Israel Rabbinical College.
