The Supreme Court will determine whether a 2004 Clean Water Act settlement between the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and Guam will prevent Guam from seeking from the U.S. Navy contribution toward the cost of cleaning up a former Navy dump in Guam under the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act, also known as the Superfund statute.
