Working with Ukrainians taking refuge in a variety of countries due to the conflict in their native land, the Mintz team launched and incorporated a US nonprofit with a US board for their benefit. By the spring of 2023, the nonprofit has raised several million dollars.

For over a decade, Mintz has helped organize and host a pro bono clinic brining together in-house counsel and nonprofit organizations. The most recent event included a training session on privacy, data security, and social media policies.
Mintz has once again been named a recipient of the National Legal Aid & Defender Association (NLADA)’s Beacon of Justice Award. This year, the award was given to law firms that demonstrated their “efforts to address issues related to LGBTQ+ rights and/or gender-based equity issues that intersect with racial equity.”
